Antique Persian KashanThis Antique piece has been very finely woven and had previously had its fringes damaged. The previous weaver had decided to secure the edges without the use of fringes thereby creating a frame around the rug that did not look suitable for this rugs design. Therefore our customer had decided to add the fringes to both sides of this rug which you can see in the next images.
Kashan Repairs afterThis image shows the rug in the process of the fringes being added. At this point, the rug is almost complete and needs to be take off the loom and have its fringes trimmed.
