Website Images

Whilst we try our hardest to ensure all rug images on our website are true representations of our rugs, we cannot be held responsible for technical configurations of your monitor or printer which may affect image quality.

Some rugs may not be as perfectly straight as one would think, as they are hand made and not machine made, tribal/nomadic rugs are more likely to be out-of-shape as they are not made in a town but are made from tribes in villages or landscapes.

Defective Items

We will be happy to exchange items that are defective. This only takes effect on certain rugs as some are very difficult to get and make, most likely it will be very costly. Please note: the customer should understand that handmade rugs will not be replaced, due to uniqueness and individuality of custom made rug.

We offer 30 days money back guarantee, no hassles. However, the client will be responsible for the return of package. Any rug that is damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect will be replaced at no extra charge to the client.

Shipping and Delivery

Rugs are shipped through Courier services, TNT, UPS or MyHermes. Please allow at least 1 week for delivery. RugMaster cannot guarantee delivery times, since we cannot take responsibility once the package is in the hands of the courier services. Your order will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible.

Shipping Charges

We offer free shipping within the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man. European delivery charges vary depending on location. But arrangements can be made by contacting our Customer Service.

Oriental Rug Repairs and Cleaning

By engaging the services of Oriental Rug Repairs and Cleaning (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (the “Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

Services Provided

We provide cleaning, repair, restoration, and maintenance services for Oriental, antique, and woollen rugs. Our processes are carried out with the utmost care and professionalism to preserve the quality of your rugs.

Assessment and Estimates

    •    Before starting any service, we will assess the condition of your rug and provide a detailed estimate.
    •    Any significant changes in the cost of repair or cleaning will be communicated before proceeding.
    •    Estimates are valid for 30 days.

Liability

    •    Pre-existing conditions: We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to wear and tear, moth infestation, sun fading, colour bleeding, weak fibres, or prior repairs.
    •    Fragile items: Antique and delicate rugs may be fragile due to age or previous damage. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee against unforeseen issues arising during cleaning or repair.
    •    Shrinkage/Colour Run: Rugs may shrink slightly or experience colour bleeding during cleaning. While we use safe, tested techniques, such risks are inherent to certain types of rugs.
    •    Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

Cleaning Process

    •    Rugs are cleaned using industry-standard methods that are appropriate for their material and condition.
    •    Customers must disclose any previous treatments, dyes, or chemicals used on the rug that may affect the cleaning process.

Repairs and Restoration

    •    Repairs are performed to restore the structural and aesthetic integrity of the rug.
    •    Customers may request specific repair techniques (e.g., hand repair, patching, or reweaving), which will be quoted separately.
    •    Any repair work agreed upon is final, and changes cannot be made after work has commenced without additional charges.

Repairs and Consideration for Certain Rug Types

    •    For power-loomed, machine-made, and tufted rugs, repairs can sometimes present unique challenges due to the rug’s construction. Because the backing does not allow for easy needle insertion, certain repairs may be more complex and may not achieve a completely seamless result. While our team will always take the utmost care in restoring your rug, we appreciate your understanding that a perfect finish may not always be possible in these cases.

Collection and Delivery

    •    Rugs can be delivered to or collected from our premises. Alternatively, we offer collection and delivery services, which may incur an additional fee.
    •    All delivery times are estimates and subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Terms

    •    Full payment is due upon completion of the service and before the rug is returned to the Customer.
    •    Late payments may incur additional charges.

Storage

    •    Rugs not collected within 30 days of the agreed completion date may incur storage fees.
    •    If a rug is not collected within 90 days and payment has not been received, we reserve the right to sell the rug to recover costs.

 Cancellation Policy

    •    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service.
    •    Failure to cancel within this timeframe may result in a cancellation fee.

Customer Responsibility

    •    It is the Customer’s responsibility to remove any personal belongings from the rug before collection or delivery.
    •    We are not liable for items left on or within the rug, such as jewellery, documents, or valuables.

Complaints and Disputes

    •    Any complaints regarding the service must be made within 7 days of receiving the rug.
    •    We will make every effort to resolve disputes amicably.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
